Academic Achiever Led to Know God

I graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Fullerton in May 2000 as a President's Scholar with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and enough units to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics. I worked as a research assistant in Electron Scattering and Surface Physics Laboratories. I have a supportive mother and father and two younger siblings.

Although I am an achiever in the academic realm, and loved by my family, still in my being there is a deeper longing to know God. The ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee met that need while I was in college, and continues to meet my need today. In college I read one chapter from a book of this ministry two to three times per week with other students. Through that reading, God fed and supplied me to maintain the rigorous coursework in college. I was filled with joy by touching the Lord with other students and my desire to know God was met. The ministry of these brothers caused me to love God more and come to Him frequently. It also gave me words of encouragement and points of truth to speak to my friends who were asking questions about God. This ministry caused me to experience and enjoy Christ during my college years and for that, I am eternally grateful.
